Reflections on Life – TOOLS FOR FOOD

Reflections on Life untersucht das Wohnen als Forschungsfeld der Innenarchitektur. Den Auftakt bildet TOOLS FOR FOOD – The Kitchen is Not a Room, das die Küche nicht als Raum, sondern als räumliche Praxis versteht. Ausgehend von unterschiedlichen Orten in München entwickeln die Studierenden am Lehrstuhl für Entwurf und Gestaltung  Projekte, die alltägliche Handlungen und vorhandene räumliche Qualitäten neu interpretieren.

Reflections on Life explores the concept of living as a field of research within interior architecture. The series opens with TOOLS FOR FOOD – The Kitchen is Not a Room, which views the kitchen not as a room but as a spatial practice. Taking various locations in Munich as their starting point, students at the Chair Entwurf und Gestaltung are developing designs that reinterpret everyday activities and existing spatial qualities.
