How do I see

becoming a ghost?

  • Ehemalig, former, previous, passed, death. But actually, this is not a problem. In object-oriented programming (OOP), a class defines the shared aspects of objects created from the class. It’s self-defining; it only depends on the shared aspects consisting of state (variables) and behavior (methods).

Different states, because of different variables, you think about lighting conditions, cardinal positions, orientation and configuration. But I refer to a transitory emotional state where memory and map are the only things that matter. In case you feel trapped, spazieren gehen is a solution.

Now you see the space, with these objects, they project figures. The wall and the floor are abolished. Is there still ground for those? You want to hang up, but there’s no ground under your feet. You look for a lead, but you only find the tracks. I’ll always ask you to change perspective, upside down, head heavy on the floor, and with the feet walking on a window.

Gar nichts. The autonomy of the work is questionable. Of course. But in this room, given the ordinal characteristics of these objects, decisions are made because of relational value. Identity scrutiny, security control, and protective behaviours are not part of this program, maybe out there, but in this class, I’d rather make gaps.

Before leaving this room, a kind of nostalgia came over me. Yes, I would do it again and again, even if it doesn’t work for me. The objects indicate the absence of the bodies, and notwithstanding their absence, at least I can play with them. Now I leave. I’ll hide my ghostly tears running down the corridor, searching for a door at the end of this prolonged tunnel effect.
