Walking Fields ist eine performative Intervention im öffentlichen Raum entwickelt von Studierenden der Kunstpädagogik im Rahmen des Blockseminars Gehen als performative Praxis - kollektive und individuelle Verortung von Körpern in öffentlichen Räumen von Lena Grossmann.

From the cargo bike Optimus Prime, I’ll offer drinks and guide the public through Munich’s canals to Riem. Sounds on bottles and spokes back a tale of water contamination told by animals and elders.

Associated props frame the work within the installation and performance, in which an ephemeral assemblage of relational tension unfolds, as choreographed states shift between instability and bodily intensity.

During the Jahresaustellung, a 20-minute lecture performance (run 2 to 3 times) activates masks and props from 6,2 km Niederschlag. From the cargo bike Optimus Prime, I’ll offer drinks and guide the public through Munich’s canals to Riem. Sounds on bottles and spokes back a tale of water contamination told by animals and elders.
Während der Jahresaustellung werden in der 20-minütigen Lecture performance 6,2 km Niederschlag Masken und Objekte aktiviert. Das Lastenrad des Kollektivs Optimus Prime dient dem Servieren von Wasser, während eine Geschichte erzählt wird, die durch die Kanalisation Münchens nach Riem an den ehemaligen Flughafen führt. Klänge mittels Flaschen und Fahrradspeichen untermalen die Erzählung der Geschichten über verschmutzte Wasserwege.

The words that can be heard consist of interrupted speech and fragmented, unstable expressions. It creates a strange feeling of being completely myself while, at the same time, not fully feeling like myself
But it is still a part of me.
Die an die Wand projizierten Untertitel sind englische Übersetzungen der Worte, die ich tatsächlich im
Schlaf gesprochen habe.

The subtitles projected onto the wall are English translations of the words I actually spoke during sleep.
The words that can be heard consist of interrupted speech and fragmented, unstable expressions. It creates a strange feeling of being completely myself while, at the same time, not fully feeling like myself
But it is still a part of me.
Die an die Wand projizierten Untertitel sind englische Übersetzungen der Worte, die ich tatsächlich im
Schlaf gesprochen habe.
Die hörbaren Worte bestehen aus abgebrochener Sprache sowie fragmentierten und instabilen Ausdrucksformen. Dadurch entsteht ein seltsames Gefühl, vollkommen ich selbst zu sein und mich gleichzeitig nicht ganz wie mich selbst zu fühlen.
